Have your black-and-white negative films professionally developed and scanned.

Process:

  1. Order your desired development and scanning option here.

  2. Send us your exposed film along with your order number.

  3. Upon receipt, you will receive your scans – if ordered – within 3–6 business days.

  4. If you would like your negatives returned, add the "Return Shipment" product to your order once (this applies to multiple films in a single shipment as well). Otherwise, as a Lab Member, your negatives will be professionally archived by us and sent back to you free of charge every 6 months. You can also request your collected negatives at any time by purchasing a return shipment.

During opening hours, you can also drop off your film in-store or drop it off 24/7 in our drop-box right next to our entrance.

Resolutions for 35mm Scans:

  • Basic Scan: 2,200 x 1,500
  • Pro Scan: 5,700 x 3,800

Resolutions may vary for different formats

Basic Scan: The legendary look of the Pakon F-135 gives your photos that unmistakable Kodak color dynamic: warm, flattering skin tones and an honest, analog vibe like fresh out of a 90s minilab. Perfect for social media, websites, and smaller prints (13x18cm).

Pro Scan: Get the absolute maximum out of your emulsion. Our DSLR Pro Scan delivers the optical sharpness and dynamic range that your best negatives deserve. The scans are individually converted with Negative Lab Pro – the global reference software for film digitization.

RAW – Convert Yourself: Do you want to have 100% control over the color look, gradation curves, and the inversion process yourself? With the RAW – Convert Yourself option, we skip the conversion and provide you with the pure, uncompressed 24-megapixel raw data directly from our DSLR setup. You get the maximum dynamic range and the full potential of the negative file directly on your hard drive.

Software for converting scans:

  • Negative Lab Pro
  • Film Lab
  • Smartconvert
  • NegPy (open source): https://github.com/marcinz606/NegPy
